About Me

My name is Mrs. Angélica Gutiérrez, and I proudly am the art teacher at Krahn Elementary. Go Cardinals!

I am married to a wonderful husband whose name is Arturo, and we have been blessed with the most amazing children any parent can have.  Samuel is a 15 years-old 9th grader who loves sports, and Daniela is a healthy and gorgeous 4 years-old girl who loves music.

​

I was born in Cali, Colombia, where I spent my childhood with my parents and my siblings. Eventually, I moved to the United States and became a proud U.S. citizen.

I graduated from Texas A&M International University, earning a BA with a major in Art.

I have been teaching for 7 years, and love to work with elementary school children.

I enjoy very much my time with students in the art classroom.  My career as an art teacher guarantees that I never have a dull moment, and I get to smile to my students each and every day.
